Design is so rewarding.  Not only do we get to create beautiful spaces but we get to see how these spaces transform our clients’ lives.  Often our clients find themselves adapting how they live to a specific room, but we love how we can transform these places to make the rooms function for them.  Read below for some of our design success stories.

A Room All Her Own

One of our client’s daughter used to make her way into mom’s room every night – it was rare that she would make it the whole night in her own bed.  We came in and gave her a room she would love, adding new bedding, rearranging furniture, and adding a fresh coat of paint.  Our client reports that her daughter loves her new room so much that she now sleeps in her own bed all night long!

A Place for Everything

It seems like when there isn’t a designated space for things, our counters end up becoming a catch-all.  Our client has a shoe-free home so shoes would pile up by the door along with backpacks, jackets, etc.  With their new laundry room design, we were able to create places to help reduce the clutter.  Shoe storage, hooks for backpacks and jackets, and even a phone charging station concealed in a drawer.  We checked back in a little while later, and guess what?… it’s working!  The kids come home from school, put their shoes away, and hang up their jackets and backpacks – the kids now have a routine they can easily execute because of this new design.

Taking Back the Master Bath

Another client of ours was sharing the master bathroom with their two tween daughters, even though the girls had a bathroom of their own.  We assessed their bathroom and discovered that an unnecessary wall was making the girls’ bathroom feel cramped.  Removing this wall created more space and made all the difference.  The girls love their new bathroom and no longer use mom and dad’s.
